Tim and Susan Snyder are company principals of SeaLife Digital. They are also the delivery crew and are married. With home port in the Tampa Bay area, they can often be found on their boat when not helping other boaters or delivering boats. They are members of St. Petersburg Yacht Club, plus Tim is a member of the Storm Trysail Club, the Island Goats Sailing Society, and The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
Tim is a trusted offshore sailboat racer since the 1980’s and holds an engineering degree. As the owner of, and navigator on winning boats, Tim relies on and maintains vessel electronics to achieve peak performance and safety. In earlier career positions Tim focused on reliability management of capital assets in all phases of the oil and gas and electric power industries. He applied machine learning applications to connect field devices to central decision support systems. Sort of like a boat these days! Now the focus is on marine electronics service, especially as these systems become more complex and interconnected.
Susan is an avid boater who has cruised the Great Lakes and recently the Gulf and Atlantic Coasts.
Tim is a US Coast Guard-licensed captain (Master-coastal with auxiliary sail endorsement) and holds the following certifications:
– NMEA Advanced Marine Electronics Installer
– NMEA 2000 marine data network installer
– BS Mechanical Engineering
– SIMRAD, Lowrance, & B&G Installer
– ABYC Marine Electrical Certification
Both Susan and Tim have been trained in First Aid by a USCG certified school. We can add additional, USCG-licensed crew to a delivery team as well.

Apart from our commendable boat delivery in Florida, we are a dedicated marine electronics dealer based in Tampa Bay. Additionally, our focus is on selling, installing, and troubleshooting marine electronics. We help you prioritize and choose the right electronics for safety on the water.
For instance, AIS (Automatic Identification System) is a crucial tool that helps identify significant commercial traffic and ensures you’re identifiable. Coupled with MMSI (Maritime Mobile Service Identity), it adds a valuable layer of electronic safety to your vessel.
Our expertise extends to the evolution of onboard electronics, ranging from LORAN systems to modern networked devices. If you have devices with different network standards, we can connect these using cost-effective bridges. Moreover, we also offer solutions for bringing analog signals, such as wind transducers and fuel level transducers, into your boat’s digital network.
